I've seen individual LinkedIn articles and long posts cited in ChatGPT and Perplexity answers, usually for "how do I" and opinion-style prompts where the engine wants a practitioner voice. Easiest way to check for your own topics: filter your citations (or ask Aim) in Profound by linkedin.com and see what's already getting pulled.
The bigger point for me is that a personal article counts as a third-party source, not owned content. So creator and employee posts on LinkedIn are some of the cheapest offsite AEO you can do.
