Introducing Carrie Jones and The CMJ Group's Innovative Community Building with Slack and Tightknit Integration
Hi everyone! So excited to be here. I'm Carrie Jones, founder of The CMJ Group where we help brands build authentic, scalable communities. We've been working with the incredible Eleanor Hooker to get this community up and running in record time, and it's been amazing to push the limits of what Slack can do and to connect it all via Tightknit (the tool that is powering the very cool user journeys, events calendar, and discussion repository for us here). What I'm building now: Agents for our internal team to quickly spin up new client communities in alignment with powerful, human-crafted strategies. Playing around with about 3 different community platform MCPs as well right now, testing their limits and seeing where we can make communities even more manageable and well-connected.
What brought me here: I'm a community geek, and am really excited to be part of solidifying this one!
Fun facts: I've lived in Georgia, Wisconsin, Washington, New Zealand, Los Angeles, and now am back in the Bay Area (where I mostly grew up). I live on an 11 acre farm next to my best friend, and we have 20 chickens. 🐓 I give a dozen fresh eggs to pretty much everyone who drops by my house.
