I had a looooong discussion with our product team about this because I was adamant that I needed that HDYHAU field in the user onboarding and they REALLY did not want to put it there. But we tried different programmatic ways to track it but it was never as good as the self-reported attribution. The problem is that people may discover you through claude, open a new tab, and then type in your URL and then it's direct so we haven't found a way to properly attribute that. Introducing Matt: Growth and Marketing Lead at Mutiny Focused on Acquisition and Community Building

Hi everyone, I'm Matt. I lead Growth and Marketing at Mutiny 🦝 What I’m building: I currently own all new user acquisition for our PLG motion as well as our enterprise pipeline.
