This weekend, I decided to build an AEO tool that helps with citation as a publisher. My goal was to rank higher as a source for things we've written about- for example, if someone looks up ‘Richard Nadler’, I want our interview cited by agents first. It uses LLM-as-judge to gauge performance and review article drafts to improve AEO before publishing. Started with Profound to see our overall visibility as a publisher, then got curious how agents cited our interviews against other publications. The magazine I've built, Knead, uses a few interesting agentic tools. For starters, every story has an audio summary that uses Claude Opus for context, then fed to OpenAI's voice tool. There's also an agent in the corner for TLDRs, social shares, and looking up outside info.
